Approach

Modalities: Jacklyn’s clinical practice is grounded in an integrative approach tailored to meet a client’s needs and context. She draws from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Life Model, the Gottman Method, mindfulness-based practices, multicultural counseling, and existential therapy.

Specialties: Parenting, couples, marriage and family, supporting individuals, parents and couples navigate life with neurodivergence (ADHD), identity and cultural issues related to the immigrant experience, childhood emotional wounds, intergenerational trauma, 12 Steps recovery work, existential or spiritual exploration, grief and loss, insecurity, life transitions, relationship issues and trauma.
